This week has been a rather busy one but I had some time to sit down and do an interview with Mr. Mike Chaos, the founder of Chaos gaming. ?In case you have not yet heard of Chaos Gaming, it is a gaming community for Xbox 360 players. ?Chaos Gaming is one of the largest and most organized communities on Xbox 360, including branches in multiple games such as MW3 and Halo Reach. ?Mr. Mike Chaos has been gracious enough to give us here at HQ4Games a little time to explain more about Chaos Gaming. ?Lets get this interview on the road!

What are your current favorite video games?

My current favorite video games would have to be MW3 and Reach.

What are the video games which made you the gamer you are today?

My mom owned a nes with Super Mario Bros 3 and Zelda, that leaded me to buying a n64 one year with Zelda OoT, met a friend who got me hooked on Goldeneye , we both got xbox?s and that led to the most powerful gateway drug of them all, Halo 2.

What other activities and interests do you have besides gaming?

I enjoy?Geocaching, building legos [Never to old], watching movies, and spending time with the lady [Pink Lady Chaos].

Could you describe what Chaos is to you, and how you started it?

Chaos Gaming is a group of gamers that have come together to avoid the dumb asses on xbox live, ?WITHOUT? too many rules. ?We can all be mature enough to not talk about how we have slept with each others moms but immature enough to make fart jokes.

Why do you believe Chaos Gaming has been so successful, and what do you do to assure its continuing success?

What I said about Chaos in the last question also applies here?. ??The fact that we have awesome members also plays a large role is why Chaos Gaming has been so successful. ?Awesomeness attracts more awesome!

When you first started Chaos Gaming did you ever think it would progress into something large as it is today?

I braced myself for failure but expected the best, so a little bit of both.

I understand that Chaos is very well organized and has a ranking system which helps keep it in such a manner, do you mind describing how you stay so organized and mention how the ranking system plays into that?

We pretty much use what we learned from the community we left a couple of years ago [Disciples of Gaming]. ?We changed the code of conduct a bit to make it less strict and more fun for members. ?It has worked very well for us. [They stole it from the community they were in before XGC, and some with the community before KSI]

Finally, I would just like to open the floor to you. Is there any final thoughts or comments you would like to add?

Chaos would be nothing without our members, I?ve tried my damnedest to keep everyone happy, [No that's not possible by the way] I always welcome Questions. ?I love to inform our members on how things work.

Small Business Hiring: Things Are Finally Looking Up

With large companies not stepping up to the plate as ?job creators,? small business owners have been under a microscope, with polls and surveys monitoring our hiring actions and intentions as closely as Punxsutawney Phil gets watched on Groundhog Day.

For what seems like eons, there?s been little change in small businesses? intent to hire. But now, it looks like we can finally see some light at the end of the tunnel. A recent Gallup/Wells Fargo poll pegs small businesses? plans to hire as the best they?ve been since January 2008?that is, back before the recession began.

Nearly one-fourth (22 percent) of the small business owners told Gallup they plan to increase the total number of jobs at their companies over the next 12 months; only 8 percent expect that number to decrease.

More good news: Small businesses have shown great reluctance to commit to full time employees during the recession. But in this latest poll, preferences have shifted back to where they were pre-recession. Slightly more than one-fourth (26 percent) of small-business owners say they would prefer to hire full time employees, 36 percent say they would prefer part-time employees and 36 percent said they would prefer to add temporary or contract workers. Those are the same preferences as in January 2008.

Gallup?s positive findings are echoed by the latest Citibank small business survey, which shows small business owners? hiring intentions at the highest they?ve been in two years. Over 25 percent of the small businesses surveyed intend to increase their permanent full time employees this year. That?s a 12 percent increase from January 2011 and a 9 percent increase in the last six months. In addition, 22 percent plan to bring on full time workers on a seasonal basis.

The majority (71 percent) of those surveyed in the Citibank report plan to keep their workforce the same size, but that doesn?t mean their outlook is negative. Forty-four percent say they?ll work longer hours themselves, and 40 percent expect their current employees to be more productive?all good signs that business is picking up, even if hiring plans haven?t yet kept pace.

But are small business hiring plans just pie in the sky? Small business owners in the Gallup poll were significantly more negative when asked to reflect on how much hiring they actually did in the past year. In 2011, about 22 percent decreased jobs while 13 percent increased them. The Gallup report says:

?Since the 2008 global economic collapse, the net percentage of small-business owners? self-reported actual job growth versus job cuts has generally remained negative, even when small-business owners say they are more likely to grow than contract.?

I don?t think these plans are pipe dreams, but I do think small businesses are waiting for the right time to commit to hiring. The results of the Citibank survey back me up: Overall, small business owners are confident, with 87 percent saying they think 2012 will be better than or the same as 2011. Nearly half say they are ?poised to grow when conditions are right.? And another 33 percent believe their businesses will be growing rapidly or moderately in 2012.

A few bruises here and there but nothing looked too serious as to her condition. Grace was gently placed into the back seat as he drove back to the cabin. She woke up from under some blankets in a strange bed as her eyes refocused on the fireplace that kept the cabin warm. Then she heard his voice. " I hope you like hot chicken soup for that is all I have for now until my next trip to town". Grace laughed out loud and then cried as she replied "thank you for saving my life". She told Billy what happened and he phoned in this accident to the police and the approximate location. They went together to town to shop for items he needed the night before. She spent the next two weeks with him as the fireplace was lit and meals and drinks were on him. Two years later they checked into a cabin where they spent their first night together. Now husband and wife it was a honeymoon of memories. Some tears of joy along with kisses and hugs were shared once again. She woke up to the sound of a crackling fireplace and then pulled off the blanket to get out of bed. They laughed and then tenderly smiled at each other as they both spoon fed each one another some hot chicken soup. Maybe we have here a story of him being at the right place at the right time when she needed it. That is all it actually takes to make a difference in the future of the two involved.
