MONTREAL IMPACT 1, SPORTING KANSAS CITY 3
In Montreal, Kai Kamara and Graham Zusi both scored from contentious penalties to give Sporting Kansas City victory at Montreal.
Fans booed through much of the second half after the referee awarded a penalty against Montreal's Patrice Bernier for accidental hand ball, and then gave another spotkick for what looked like incidental contact by captain Davy Arnaud.
After Kamara and Zusi converted from the spot to erase a 1-0 deficit, substitute Jacob Peterson put the match away for Kansas City with a goal in the 82nd minute.
Bernier scored in the 49th minute for Montreal, which lost its third straight.

Lionard Pajoy made a backheel pass on the run to Farfan, who made no mistake and silence a big Los Angeles holiday crowd.
Jack McInerney opened the scoring for the Union in first-half stoppage time, and Chad Barrett equalized for the Galaxy in the 73rd.

DALLAS 1, TORONTO 1
In Frisco, Texas, Kevin Hartman made a fabulous lunging save in the 84th minute to preserve the draw for Dallas against Toronto.
Zach Loyd scored in the 5th minute for Dallas and Danny Koevermans equalized for the visitors in the 31st with his ninth goal of the seaosn.
The 38-year-old Hartman, playing in his MLS-record 400th career game, helped the club avoid a loss but the result still extended a franchise-record winless streak to 12 matches.
